Old & Coptic Cairo
Next, you’ll travel back in time to the Cairo Citadel, a massive stone fortress built almost 900 years ago to keep the city safe. From the top, you can see all over Cairo! Inside, you’ll find the beautiful Alabaster Mosque, which shines in the sunlight. After exploring, you’ll get to taste some delicious Egyptian food at a local restaurant.
Then, you’ll visit some of the oldest and most important churches and synagogues in the city. The Hanging Church is really cool because it’s built above old ruins, almost like it’s floating! At the Ben Ezra Synagogue, you’ll hear the story of baby Moses.
