WHAT EXPECT
You’ll start your day bright and early when our team comes to your hotel in Hurghada to pick you up for a trip to Cairo. The drive takes about 5 to 6 hours, so you’ll have plenty of time to nap in the comfy, air-conditioned car. Don’t forget to ask your hotel for a breakfast box before you leave (own expense). Once you get to Cairo, your first stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum!
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum near Cairo is a major achievement in archaeological preservation and cultural exhibition. Its vast structure is one of the world’s largest archaeological museums. It will house over 100,000 artifacts, including the full collection from Tutankhamun’s tomb displayed together for the first time. The museum features advanced conservation labs and interactive exhibits, offering an immersive experience of Egypt’s cultural heritage.
Pyramids of Giza
Once we finish exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum, we’ll make our way to the famous Giza Pyramids, just outside Cairo. This awesome place is home to three giant pyramids: the Great Pyramid built for King Khufu, another for King Khafre, and a third for King Menkaure. These massive structures were put together over 4,500 years ago, during a time called the Fourth Dynasty. Besides the pyramids, you’ll also find lots of ancient tombs and even the ruins of a village where the workers who built the pyramids used to live.
Great Sphinx
Our next stop is the Great Sphinx of Giza, a giant statue made from limestone that looks like a creature with a human head and a lion’s body. You’ll find it lying down on the Giza Plateau, staring straight ahead from west to east. People think the face was modeled after the pharaoh Khufu. The Sphinx was first carved out of rock, but later, people fixed it up with extra limestone blocks. It’s huge—about 240 feet long, 66 feet tall, and 62 feet wide! One thing you’ll notice is that its nose is missing, and no one really knows why.
Once we finish exploring these ancient wonders, we’ll grab a tasty lunch at a nice restaurant in Cairo. After that, we’ll have some time to shop for souvenirs before heading back to Hurghada.

Mari Oliver –
The tour was great. We had a private guide. Everything went smooth and without any problems.
The guide had a lot of knowledge about everything he showed us in Cairo and it was easy to see, that he was interested in these things. That’s what made the tour exceptionally good.
Lunch was very good. Local Egyptian food in a nice place.
Can absolutely recommend this tour!
