WED/MON: Arrival Aswan
Upon arriving at Aswan International Airport or the train station, a friendly guide will assist you in boarding a luxurious 5-star Nile cruise ship. After settling in, you’ll visit the High Dam, built in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and to relocate ancient temples like Abu Simbel. Next, you’ll explore the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, constructed during the Greco-Roman era. After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore Aswan at night.

THU/TUE: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu
Kick off your day with an awesome morning adventure to the incredible Abu Simbel temples in Egypt! These amazing structures were built way back in the 13th century BC when Pharaoh Ramses II was the ruler. You can find them in the Nubian ruins, and they’re so special that they’re a UNESCO World Heritage Site (you can choose to go see them!). After we explore these cool temples, we’ll hop back on our Nile cruise ship in Aswan to start our exciting cruise journey. Our next stop will be the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is in the city with the same name. This temple is unique because it honors two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Great. It even has two different sections for each god! After we check out this fascinating temple, we’ll continue our sail down the Nile to Edfu.
